LaMarcus was told for years that meat was good for him because it was packed with great protein. With a lack of knowledge about what he had been consuming for years, he decided to do his own research about what is best for his body. With many years of research and the study of nutrition and human food consumption, he was done with both meat and dairy. With Mississippi ranked as the top most obese state and a concern about the health of his community having a better, more healthy restaurant selection, he decided to partner with Patton Hospitality Group Inc. to help start his 2nd vegan restaurant location and expand his vegan movement in Mississippi selling from his food truck in Jackson, MS to his new location only a few steps away at Alcorn State University daily to become Mississippi's first vegan movement.
